Accessing Online Accounts
New students taking college courses should establish access to their university accounts as soon as possible. There are two accounts you'll need to set-up and your home universities will send information about getting started with each of these accounts.
- Banner accounts is where you will receive vital information from your home university and where you register for classes
- Desire2Learn (D2L) provides access to information from your instructors outside of class (even for face-to-face classes)
Find your home university support number if help is needed accessing either of these resources.
Textbooks for face-to-face classes - Students are contacted via email before the start of each semester with information about your required textbooks and purchase options. Sometimes these books can be found posted for sale (from former students) on the bulletin board in the CCC Administrative Office.
Textbooks for online classes - All students can use the textbook search-by-course service provided by the online bookstore of the university offering their online class.
Capital City Campus is dedicated to helping our students meet their educational goals by providing disability support services and academic accommodations. Accommodations are available to students with documented learning, physical or psychological disabilities. We will work closely with your designated home campus to follow through on the proper accommodations so you can focus on realizing your full potential in your educational achievements.
For further information or to start the process of setting up accommodations, consult your home university’s disability services office.
